Livestock Partnership

A government / industry livestock identification and tracing solution that has the confidence of all users, improves compliance, and provides value for money.

Livestock Partnership

The Livestock Partnership’s focus is to reform livestock identification and tracing through simplifying processes and systems.  The programme of work will be delivered through a new kind of partnership between Industry and Government, allowing those using the systems to have influence in shaping their future operation.  Work is underway to establish what this means in practice for all involved.

The programme will be taken forward on a GB basis, although there may be some differences in implementation across England, Wales and Scotland. The Scottish and Welsh Devolved Administrations are a key part of the Partnership Team.

These web pages aim to provide information on the work of the Livestock Partnership, give updates on specific areas of work and help you become familiar with the team.
